1893-CC $5 AU55 PCGS. Variety 1-A, as usual on this final Carson City issue. The 1893-CC five had a mintage of 60,000 coins, but Mint State examples are scarce. This Choice AU coin displays yellow-gold surfaces with hints of luster near the borders. Light surface chatter appears over the interiors, and trivial strike weakness is discernible on the hair curls around Liberty's face.
