Liberty Double Eagles
1883-S $20 MS62+ NGC. The 1883-S Liberty double eagle was produced in large quantities, but the issue circulated heavily in both domestic and foreign trade, and few examples were preserved for numismatic purposes. This Plus-graded MS62 specimen is an attractive survivor, with sharply detailed design elements and lightly marked orange-gold surfaces. Vibrant mint luster enhances the considerable eye appeal.
