A lightly worn AU example of this popular branch mint Type Three double eagle, with completely original orange-gold surfaces that show a moderate number of minor abrasions and luster grazes on both sides. The mint luster is somewhat dimmed and there is a minor rim ding at 4 o'clock on the reverse.
