1889 $20 MS62 PCGS. Only 44,070 Liberty double eagles were struck at the Philadelphia Mint in 1889 and the issue is somewhat scarce at the MS62 grade level. This well-detailed MS62 representative offers vivid orange-gold surfaces, with vibrant mint luster and some scattered, minor contact marks on both sides. PCGS has graded 31 numerically finer examples (7/17).
