Liberty Double Eagles
1894-S $20 MS64 PCGS. The availability of the 1894-S double eagle declines sharply in MS64, and only a handful of finer coins are known. This near-Gem is frosty and original with wheat-gold luster that glows beneath a light and shimmers when rotated. Neither side shows distracting abrasions, although we note some small contact marks around the mintmark on the reverse. PCGS has seen only three numerically finer representatives (7/17).
