1928 50C Hawaiian MS65 NGC. CAC. This lovely Gem Hawaiian half dollar, featuring Captain James Cook on the obverse and a native chief on the reverse, was designed by Honolulu artist Juliette May Fraser. Both sides of this piece exhibit brilliant, untoned silver surfaces and frosty luster with bold details. A highly appealing example of this scarce commemorative issue.
