1885-CC $1 GSA, Doubled Dash, VAM-4, MS65 NGC. A Hot 50 Variety. A thick, faintly doubled "dash" beneath the second 8 in the date is the chief attribute of this important VAM variety. This Gem example is well-struck and frosty with brilliant mint luster and no severe abrasions. A hint of reflectivity emerges from the fields when tilted beneath a light.
