Three Hobo Nickels. These well-made carvings are done in the classic style, but in our opinion do not date from the classic period of original hobo nickels. The 1930s dates on the nickels are further indication of a later vintage. They make an attractive group, and the overall attention to detail and quality of carving are noted.
