Sir Charles Cockerell made his money with the East India Company. He was elected MP for Evesham (1819-1837) having previously held four different seats, Tregony (1802-1806), Lostwithiel (1807), Bletchingley (1809-1812) and Seaford (1816-1818). The view on the medal is composite, the Tower cannot be seen through the Arch. (120-160 GBP)
