*ex. 'Bostonian Collection', Bank Leu Auction 51 (Zurich), 24-26 October, 1990 (lot 685); bt. Baldwin 1990; DNW Auction, 29 September, 2010 (lot 1941)
The probable issuer was John McKelvie, grocer and spirit dealer, 25 Dalrymple Street, and his son, John junior, wholesale grocer and tea dealer, 16 Shaw Street (Manville p.113). The provenance of this coin as originally quoted in Manville confused it with another privately owned example (Manville, SNC June 2002, p.117, amended) (800-1000 GBP)
