This coin struck by the moneyer Q. Voconius Vitulus bears on its obverse a very characteristic portrait of the deified Julius Caesar, making it clear that he stood loyally by Octavian's side. The reverse type of a standing calf is a punning allusion to the cognomen Vitulus, which means calf.
