Anne (1702-14), Shilling, 1708, Edinburgh (local dies), draped bust left, e* below, rev. crowned shields cruciform, narrow 0 and reversed 'Z' type 1 in date, stops after g, r and b (cf. ESC 1440; S.3615), about very fine, rare.
Whilst ESC explicitly documents no. 1440 as omitting stops after g, r and b of the reverse legend, the cataloguer notes stops in these locations, albeit displaced by crowns on this example. Similarly, although not noted at the time, another specimen (presumably a die match) sold in Spink auction 207, 23 March 2011, lot 577
