National Bank of Egypt, obverse and reverse archival photographs showing designs for a £10, ND (possibly c.1910), black and white, goatherd with goats at centre, value at low centre and left and right, reverse, Bedouin camp with tent and camel at centre, value at left and right and low centre(Pick unlisted), this undated design is arguably the most interesting of the entire group, because it is unclear where it sits in the design process. I have guessed at around 1910 because it shares some design elements with others here. However, it could easily have been done as part of the 1924 issue, for which only a £1 and £5 were actually issued. it is a well imagined and beautifully produced design, which would have made a striking note (2).
Estimate: £1,000.00 - £1,200.00
