The Imperial Bank of Persia, reverse archival photograph showing a design for 2 toman, 1923. This reverse design is the same as the one issued in 1924, which is interesting because unlike the preceeding 1 Toman design, the 2 toman was printed by Bradbury, rather than Waterlow. It is mysterious that the contract was Split, and that the designs for some notes were deemed acceptable and others were not, good condition with a very clear image.
Estimate: £100.00 - £150.00
