Eastern Europe, Black Sea area. Imitating Lysimachos. ca. 250-200 B.C. AE 18 (18.09 mm, 2.91 g, 9 h). Contemporary Copy . unofficial mint. Young male head (Ares?) right wearing crested Corinthian-style helmet / Β[Α]ΣΙΛΕΩ[Σ], title above lion leaping right; beneath, spearhead and fragmentary letters of what should read: "ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΣ" but appears only as illegible fragments. VF for type, attractive green patina, better-made example than usually seen.
