MACEDON, Oisyme. Circa 400-350 BC. Æ Chalkous (10.5mm, 1.58 g, 9h). Helmeted head of Athena right / Herakles, wearing lion skin, kneeling right, drawing bow. Oisyme was a small colony established by the Thasians along the coast of Macedon between Amphipolis and Neapolis. This issue of bronze chalkoi is the sole coinage of the city, and only a handful are known, none of which have apparently appeared at auction.
