ATTICA, Athens. Circa 165-42 BC. AR Tetradrachm (32.5mm, 16.98 g, 1h). New Style coinage. Struck 165-149/8 BC. Helmeted head of Athena right / Owl standing right, head facing, on amphora; monograms flanking, grain ear to lower left; all within wreath. Thompson 55 (same obv. die); HGC 4, 1602. Good VF, lightly toned, double struck. Rare early issue.
