MACEDON. Eion (?). Circa 470-460 BC. Diobol (Silver, 11 mm, 1.04 g). Goose standing right, head to left, on decorated base; above, lizard left; Θ (or shield) to lower left. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. SNG ANS 273-4. Well struck and beautifully toned. Extremely fine.
