.Attica. Athens. Circa 449-404 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 17.19 g, 7 h), c. 430s-420s. Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet with palmette and three olive leaves. Rev. ΑΘΕ Owl standing right, head facing; behind, olive spray and crescent moon. Svoronos Pl. 14, passim. A sharp and attractive example. Struck on a tight flan, otherwise, extremely fine.
