.Attica. Athens. Circa 449-404 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 17.17 g, 10 h), c. 430s-420s. Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet with palmette and three olive leaves. Rev. ΑΘΕ Owl standing right, head facing; behind, olive spray and crescent moon. Svoronos Pl. 14, 13-15 ff. An attractive and bold piece struck on a broad flan. Edge break, otherwise, good extremely fine.
