Bithynia. Dia. Circa 85-65 BC. (19 mm, 8.04 g, 11 h). Laureate head of Zeus to right. Rev. ΔΙΑΣ Eagle, with spread wings and head turned back to right, standing left on a thunderbolt; to left, monogram. SNG BM 1562. SNG Copenhagen 404. An exceptionally fine example with a glossy, dark patina. Good extremely fine.
