Mysia. Kyzikos. Circa 500-450 BC. Hekte (Electrum, 11 mm, 2.67 g). Facing gorgoneion with open mouth and protruding tongue; below, tunny fish to left. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. Von Fritze I 129. With a ferocious head of the Gorgon. Obverse slightly off center, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
