India. Kushan Empire. Vasudeva II, circa 290-310. Dinar (Gold, 22 mm, 8.03 g, 12 h). ΦΑΟΝΑΝΑΟΦΑΟ Β - ΑΖΔΗΟ ΚΟΦΑΝΟ Vasudeva, crowned and nimbate, standing facing, head turned to left, with flames on his shoulder, holding standard in his left hand and, with his right, sacrificing over altar to left; to left, trident with ribbon; to right, two symbols. Rev. ΟhΦΟ Siva, nimbate, standing facing, holding a wreath in his right hand and a trident in his left; behind, the bull Nandi standing left; in upper left field, tamgha. Donum Burns 448 (same obverse die). MK 535 var. (different symbols on reverse). Clear and well-struck. Extremely fine.
