CILICIA. Tarsus. Caracalla, 197-217. Didrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 4.54 g, 7 h), 215-217. AY K M AYP CΕΟYΗΡ ANTΩNINOC Radiate head of Caracalla to right. Rev. TAPCO-Y MHTPOΠOΛ Nike walking to left, holding wreath with her extended right hand and palm with the left. Prieur 800 and SNG Levante 1041 (but both with incorrectly cited obverse inscriptions). Rare (only three examples were known to the Prieurs). Sharp and attractive. Struck very slightly off center and with a minor die break on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
