ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ - ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ Athena with crested helmet and spear seated l., holding on her outstretched r. hand Nike crowning the king's name; l. elbow resting on shield decorated with Gorgoneion; in the outer l. field, herm, inner l. field, cult image, in exergue, monogram EY. 17.00 g. M. Thompson, The Mints of Lysimachus, Essays Robinson 179, 224 var. C. Arnold-Biucchi, Pergamene mint under Lysimachos, Studies Price 7, 17. Of excellent style and high relief on a large flan and well centred. Fine old patina. A most attractive coin. Some scratches on reverse. Extremely fine.
