Thrace, Augusta Traiana. Caracalla. A.D. 198-217. Æ (31 mm, 16.96 g, 6 h). AVT M AVPH ANTΩNINO[C], laureate and cuirassed bust of Caracalla right, with aegis on backplate / AVΓOVC-THC TPAIN/HC, serpent with radiate head coiled right. Schönert-Geiss - (but dies V106/R170 [J. Domna]); Varbanov 1196 (same dies as illus.); Varbanov (2002 ed.) 284 (this coin illus.). Green and black patina, a few cleaning marks. Nice very fine.
