Head of Athena left, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with griffin; behind neckguard, KE monogram / YEΛHTΩ[N], lion prowling left; below, KE monogram. Williams 301 (O166/R231); SNG Dreer 304 (same dies); HN Italy 1290. Mount removed, some roughness on reverse. Fine.

The Expatriate Collection was formed by an American who has lived abroad for nearly fourteen years in Japan, Europe, Canada, and the Middle East. His collection was formed almost exclusively while living outside the United States.
