Union Bank of Scotland, archival photograph of an unadopted obverse and reverse design for £1, 10 March 1904, together with three vignettes on the reverse, illustrating buildings and the River Clyde. The Bank's first issue was dated 1905 and the notes were printed by Waterlow & Sons. This image is of a Bradbury Wilkinson engraving, thus exceptionally rare.
