CARTHAGE, First Punic War. Circa 264-241 BC. Æ Shekel (22mm, 6.41 g, 5h). Mint on Sardinia. Wreathed head of Tanit left / Horse standing right; Punic bet below. CNP 33v; MAA 59e var. (Punic bet also to right of horse); SNG Copenhagen 208 var. (same). VF, dark brown patina with green hues, off center and some roughness on reverse.
