Constantius II. AD 337-361. Æ Centenionalis (24mm, 3.58 g). Constantinople mint, 8th officina. Struck AD 348-351. Pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Soldier left, spearing fallen horseman to lower left(?); shield to right; [Γ/-//CO]NSH. Cf. RIC VIII 80 & 86 for possible types. VF, dark green to black patina. Flipover overstrike and double strike.

A fascinating coin where the original coin with a bust left obverse was flipped over and then struck again with dies with a bust right obverse. Whereas the obverse types are clear, the reverse types are not quite as discernible.
