Mexico City, Mexico, cob 8 reales, Philip IV, assayer D, with original Spink box from 1960s promotion. S-M18a; KM-45. 26.68 grams, the box 3-1/4" x 2-1/2". Very choice full flan with no corrosion, superb full cross, full but slightly doubled shield, nicely toned all over, edge-split, the box a little worse for wear but intact. With small Spink certificate. Recovered from: "Lucayan Beach wreck," sunk ca. 1628 off Grand Bahama Island
