Comayagua, Honduras, provisional "imitation cob" 1/2 real, 1824-(CY), very rare, encapsulated NGC AU 55, ex-Richard Stuart (designated on label). KM-unl; Jara p. 100-101. 1.38 grams. Very bold full monogram and date, nearly full but typically off-center cross, nicely toned and minimally rubbed on high points, a great companion for the previous lot (1/2R 1823), equally rare and desirable. NGC #4486426-003. Pedigreed to the Richard Stuart collection.
