Empress of Rome for the three months that her husband Aemilian was emperor, nothing is known of the life of Gaia Cornelia Supera. Her name and monuments were condemned after Valerian was hailed as emperor in October of AD 253 and declared a damnatio memoriae on his predecessor, leaving the limited numismatic evidence her only surviving epitaph.
