1783 SHILNG Chalmers Shilling, Long Worm VG10 PCGS. Breen-1012, W-1790, R.4. Unusually heavy wear affects the right side of both the obverse and reverse of this Long Worm shilling, an issue which is known for uneven planchet thicknesses and localized weakness. Pleasing silver-gray surfaces are sharply defined on the "thin" side of the coin. The surfaces are show only a few light marks overall. Listed on page 53 of the 2018 Guide Book. Population: 4 in 10, 40 finer (9/17).
