Indian Cents
1888/7 1C Snow-1, FS-301, VG10 PCGS. Eagle Eye Photo Seal, card included. The remnants of an undertype 7 are visible below the final 8 in the date, and a small rim cud is evident at 9 o'clock on the obverse, identifying the FS-301 variety, "the number one cherrypick among Indian Head cents" according to the Cherrypickers' Guide. About 30 examples are known. This well-worn VG10 example displays lightly abraded olive-brown surfaces, with the date and legends legible, but LIBERTY largely effaced.
