Proof Lincoln Cents
1936 1C Type Two -- Brilliant Finish PR66 Red PCGS. The mirrorlike fields on each side of this first-year Lincoln cent proof distinguish the Brilliant finish from the Satin finish employed on proofs earlier in the year. This format is more collectible, and many collectors prefer the Brilliant aesthetic. Fire-orange surfaces are incredibly void of contact. Tiny carbon spots appear on each side but do not affect the appeal. Population: 58 in 66 (5 in 66+) Red, 7 finer, including Cameo (9/17).
