1913-S 10C MS66 PCGS. The 1913-S is a semikey date in the Barber dime series and one that excites many collectors far more than some realize. This cataloger recalls a coin club acquaintance years ago who made it a collecting goal to fill a full roll of the date in problem-free circulated condition. This Premium Gem is far finer than the average 1913-S, being conditionally rare and arguably underappreciated at this level. Frosty luster and unabraded silvery surfaces complement sharp design elements, while a lone russet toning fleck on the R in AMERICA serves as a pedigree marker. Population: 18 in 66, 7 finer (9/17).
