Twenty Cent Pieces
1875-CC 20C MS62 PCGS Secure. BF-2, R.1. Nearly 75% of the 1875-CC double dimes were struck from this die marriage, which shows the right side of 1 in the date aligned with the shield point and slight recutting of the 5 south of the loop. Brilliant-silver surfaces show a faint overlay of golden-gray patina and bright, frosted mint luster. As usual, the strike is slightly soft at Liberty's knee and shield, yet this example is sharper than normal and the star centers are pinpoint sharp. Housed in a PCGS Secure holder.
