1805 25C B-3, R.1 -- Obverse Spot Removed -- NGC Details. AU. Tompkins Die State 5/2. Unnaturally bright on both sides from the noted spot removal. Little true wear is present, although areas of localized strike weakness are visible on each side; on the obverse, several stars, the E in LIBERTY, and the lower hair curls are incompletely struck, while the reverse shows weakness on the eagle's tailfeathers and on the stars and clouds. No major abrasions are observed.
