Large Cents
1856 1C Upright 5, N-6, R.1, MS65 Red PCGS. A large die lump off the bust tip and a raised die line from the last A in AMERICA to the branch stem are pickup points for the Newcomb-6 variety. Copper-orange surfaces glisten with vibrant mint luster. Central design detail is sharp, though the stars lack radials. An eye-appealing Gem for Registry builders or type collectors. Housed in a green label holder. Our EAC grade MS64. Population (all varieties): 7 in 65 Red, 0 finer (9/17).
