1914-D 1C MS65 Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. Although the 1909-S VDB is the more extensively marketed key date, the 1914-D is actually the scarcer coin in high grade. This Gem Red and Brown example displays satiny luster and luminous autumn-red and auburn surfaces. A few specks in the right obverse field are not out of line for the grade. Population: 62 in 65 (2 in 65+) Red and Brown, 4 finer; 71 in 65 (8 in 65+) Red, 7 finer. CAC: 20 in 65, 2 finer (9/17).
