Barber Quarters
1893-S 25C MS65 PCGS. The 1893-S is far and away the most challenging of the three quarter issues from that year. More than 1.4 million coins were struck, but few were numismatically saved. This is a spectacular Choice Uncirculated representative with variegated lavender, green, and blue patina. Shimmering luster percolates through the colorful overlay, enhancing the aesthetic quality. The reverse is fully struck, and the obverse is nearly so. Population: 10 in 65 (1 in 65+), 7 finer (9/17).
