Bust Half Dollars
1807 50C Capped Bust, Small Stars, O-113, R.2, AU50 PCGS. CAC. Both sides exhibit light clash marks, and the reverse has a die crack from the denomination through UNITED STATE, but lacks the late state die crack through S OF AMER that identifies the O-113a variant. This piece has pleasing pewter-gray surfaces with lovely peripheral blue and amber toning. Population: 8 in 50, 29 finer (9/17).
