Morgan Dollars
1890-CC $1 GSA MS64+ NGC. CAC. The 1890-CC dollar had one of the lower number of coins held by the GSA with only 3,949 pieces released for sale in the 1970s. Of that low-release number, for the collector what is even more important are the small numbers certified in higher grades. NGC has only certified 18 other 1890-CC dollars in GSA holders as MS64, and this is the only MS64+. Notably, only one piece is finer, a single MS65 (8/17). This piece shows slight breaks in the otherwise thick mint frost and a few small abrasions. Strike details are fully brought up in the centers, and the surfaces are mostly brilliant.
