Gold Dollars
1866 G$1 MS65 PCGS. Coming from a mintage of only 7,100 pieces, the 1866 gold dollar is a scarce and seldom seen issue in Mint State. Gem and finer examples are rare. This MS65 coin displays a sharp strike and satiny luster. Rich yellow-gold surfaces feature clash marks and die polishing lines, as normal for gold dollars of this period. Population: 10 in 65, 19 finer (9/17).
