1795 50C 2 Leaves, O-131, T-9, High R.4, Fine 15 NGC. Tompkins Die Stage 1/2. For the specialist, here is a Choice Fine example of the very scarce Overton-131 variety with reverse berries placed seven left by nine right. The leaf touches the M in AMERICA. Each side has attractive, violet-gray patina, with some merging of the finer design elements. Numerous file marks on the reverse are somewhat softened by wear.
