1805/4 50C O-102, T-5, R.3, VF35 PCGS. Tompkins Die State 1/2. The Overton-102 variety is well-liked by collectors for the blatant underlying 4 beneath 5. This is a Choice mid-grade example, with silver-gray toning on the elevated areas and lovely bluish-gray patina throughout the surrounding areas. Traces of mint luster remain. Only minuscule marks exist and they are few in number, giving this nicely defined VF coin irresistible collector appeal. Population (All 1805/4 varieties combined): 32 in 35, 70 finer (9/17).
