Bust Half Dollars
1814 50C O-107, R.2, AU58 PCGS. Die lines appear in the field between Liberty's curls and stars 10-11. The N in UNITED is partly filled. Sets of triple clash marks occur on both sides. Liberty's portrait detail, and the eagle's wingtips and talons are needle-sharp. Grade-limiting friction is nearly indiscernible. Still-lustrous and lightly toned with blushes of steel-blue.
