Walking Liberty Half Dollars
1923-S 50C MS63 PCGS. This elusive coin alternates areas of silver brilliance with amber-gold toning on each side. The strike on 1923-S halves is especially problematic, and this example shows a weak strike through the centers on each side, but the luster is excellent. A small tick is noted in the toning behind the eagle's neck.
Ex: Denver Signature (Heritage, 8/2006), lot 3492.
