Walking Liberty Half Dollars
1927-S 50C MS64 PCGS. The Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco Mints struck Walking Liberty half dollars intermittently from 1923 to 1933. None were issued at Philadelphia, while the Denver Mint struck examples in 1929 only, and San Francisco coined pieces in 1923, 1927, 1928, 1929, and 1933. This Choice Mint State piece shows typical central weakness. The surfaces are fully lustrous and frosty with delicate peripheral gold toning.
